PADI Rescue Diver Course
Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It's challenging, yet very rewarding! Learn how to prevent problems from escalating. Deal with emergencies whilst keeping yourself safe. Practice techniques to stay calm and rational in stressful situations

What to expect: The PADI Rescue Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is Knowledge Development, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. The second is the Confined Skills, which are training sessions conducted in water with pool-like conditions. The following topics will be practiced; self rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, and rescuing unresponsive divers. The third are the 2 Open Water Scenario Dives, where you put your knowledge and skills into scenario practice. You will be put on the stand and have to take charge. The course is set up over 3 Days, varying classroom- & water sessions accordingly.


Requirements:
Minimum age: 12+
Minimum certification: Advanced Open Water Diver required
Emergency First Responder (EFR) course or refresher completed in last 24 months or equivalent course (this needs to be checked & accepted).
Medical statement needs to be filled out, to make sure you are fit for diving.
